Dear Generous Donors:

On behalf of the Medical Equipment Bank board members and volunteers, I extend my sincerest gratitude for your charitable donations to the Medical Equipment Bank building fund.

Your support made it possible to purchase a building to house the Medical Equipment Bank.

Many of us donate to charities before the end of the year or make holiday donations. Please consider making a donation to the Medical Equipment Bank.

As of September 20, we still need to raise $30,000. With the help of people in our community, we can make it happen.

The Medical Equipment Bank plays a role in providing essential services to older adults and adults with disabilities in our communities. Your support provides our ability to help these people. Thanks to your support.

The Medical Equipment Bank is a crucial social service program that collects unused medical supplies and used equipment. These items are then recycled and refurbished for reuse by older adults, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, low-income households, and homeless individuals, to help them lead happier, healthier, and more independent lives, enabling them to remain in their homes for longer.

Your decision to contribute to our cause is not taken for granted and is deeply appreciated.

Medical Equipment Bank is operated and managed by the Thurston County Council on Aging, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 91-0821977, UBI 601 138 296. All gifts are tax-deductible (we are not a government agency).

Donated Items Restricted Until December
at the Medical Equipment Bank

As the Medical Equipment Bank prepares for a move, a current overstock of medical supplies and equipment requires that donated items be restricted, with regrets.
Until December, the only equipment being accepted are following items, which need to be clean and in working condition:

  • Power scooters
  • Powers wheelchairs (no specialty power wheelchairs)
  • Wheelchairs
  • Pull-up diapers (unopened packages)

— No other items can be accepted —
Please hold onto medical supplies and equipment until we relocate to a new location in December.

Sincerely,
Joyce Willms, Board President
Nora Hanson, Board Vice President/Treasurer
